Crieff Rotary Club had made its largest single donation to a local cause by awarding the Friends of MacRosty Park the sum of £5000 towards the substantial costs of renovating and improving the MacRosty Park which is a huge attraction for tourists and a fantastic facility for everyone in Crieff.  The picture shows President David handing the presentation cheque to Pat Campbell.

The Friends have to raise a further £20000 as some of the sponsors have withdrawn because of the recession. Although we have given £5000, a little of our time would be very welcome to help raise some of this shortfall.

Sunday 26 July saw the Friends organising a PICNIC IN THE PARK.  Unfortunately the weather was extremely unkind most of the day, but a tremendous turnout was still managed.
